Green initiatives remain the primary focus, with 88% of sustainability efforts concentrated in this area. The research involves 893 companies of various sizes and regions.

Barbara Frencia, CEO of Business Assurance at Dnv, emphasizes a shift towards greater attention to governance and social issues, especially among large companies. Governance is now seen as a priority, with increasing focus on information security and AI implementation.

Sustainability has become a priority for over half of the interviewed companies, increasingly integrating into the way they conduct business. Overall, companies focus more on environmental issues (dimension E), followed by social (dimension S) and governance (dimension G) issues. Large companies are more active in all three dimensions, with particular emphasis on emission reduction (dimension E), social issues, and governance.
