The responsible management of food surpluses is essential for protecting the environment.
FDC Consulting Digital ESG promotes the sustainable management of food waste. The service includes food surplus recovery, sorting and redistribution, thus reducing negative environmental impact.
In collaboration with the Solidarietà Alimentare association, FDC Consulting Digital ESG promotes projects useful for collecting and distributing food surpluses through direct donations (food sector operators) or banking donations (all businesses), thus contributing to the objectives of sustainable development (SDG 2) and other European, national and international regulations regarding the sustainable management of food resources.
FDC Consulting Digital ESG will then help you report and communicate the positive impact generated by your donation in terms of:
- the number of associations helped;
- the number of families helped;
- kilos of food distributed;
- donated grocery packages.
These initiatives help limit greenhouse gas emissions related to food decomposition, prevent deforestation and reduce excessive consumption of natural resources producing food waste.
