The Regional Government of Piedmont has approved the measure “”SME Certification Vouchers for Competitiveness and Sustainability,”” with a budget of 8 million euros. The initiative targets micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises based in Piedmont, aiming to support the acquisition of voluntary certifications in the fields of technology, environment, and sustainable innovation, considered strategic for enhancing competitiveness and access to international markets.

The contribution is non-repayable, covering between 50% and 70% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of 100,000 euros per company. It can be used for consultancy services, training, and the purchase of goods and services directly related to the certification process.
The measure is part of the 2021–2027 FESR (European Regional Development Fund) program and specifically targets businesses operating in high-tech sectors, such as aerospace, microelectronics, mechatronics, green technologies, and the circular economy.

Eligible applicants are companies with an operational headquarters in Piedmont and at least one approved financial statement. Funds will be granted under the “de minimis” regulation, with priority given based on company size and specific eligibility criteria.

The call for applications will be published shortly.
